£300 heating rebate scheme with Warm Front
Since 2001 Warm Front has helped thousands of people receive insulation and central heating improvements in Birmingham to make their homes warmer, healthier and more energy-efficient. On Monday 5th December 2005, the Chancellor made a pre-budget announcement regarding Government’s intention to offer a £300 grant to pensioners who would not otherwise be eligible for Warm Front.
If you are over 60, own or privately rent your home and do not qualify for a Warm Front Grant because you do not receive a relevant benefit, you may be eligible for a £300 rebate.
Gas Safe Registered Plumbers
Criminal Records Bureau
Gas Safe Register is the official list of gas engineers who are registered to work safely and legally on gas appliances. By law, all gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe Register. It has replaced CORGI registration.
We take it for granted that our boilers, cookers, central heating systems and gas fires are safe. It is only when there is a problem with an appliance that many people take any notice of it at all.
